Local metalheads gathered on Saturday 27th at Club Epic in Osijek thanks to the Rock Tour Agency who brought us two quality bands, Necro Forest and Torchia. As we stepped into the darkness, we were embraced by the cold shadows, and showered with aggressive riffs, brutal blast beats and with a vocal sharp as a razor. We entered a mystical forest, Necro Forest. 

 

This band opened that night and it was their first live performance. Together as one they created a dark and mesmerizing atmosphere. The razorsharp vocals were done by Lycanthrop, the amazing riffs by Vorrog and the outrageous drumming by Nyktophilean. Their main focus lays on anti christianity and paganism, more precisely, Slavic paganism. As their performance was almost ending, Vorrog took the mic and sang a beautiful song for all the women out there, and that song is called ''Žene su kurve'' 

(eng. "Women are whores") by thrash metal band Defiler from Osijek. They closed their performance with the one and only Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse and True Blackness by Satanic Warmaster.

 

After that raw black metal it was time for some death metal. Next on stage were Torchia, a death metal band from Finland. Vorrog basically warmed them up by teaching the singer from Torchia how to curse God in croatian so he could shout it out loud during their show. These guys were really impressive, unfortunetly while they were playing their first song we almost couldn't hear the vocal, probably due to some technical issue. After that problem was fixed we could without any doubt enjoy the rest of the evening filled with endless riffs and some brutal mind-blowing growling.

Guys from the band work amazing together and with their extraordinary style they made the first row bang the hell out of their heads. There was one crazy true fan in the 2nd row who kept jumping around and singing along, now that's a true metalhead and horns up for that guy \m/ The first row crowd was really into the bands kickass mad energy which was fucking awesome. Of course we wanted more and they gave us more, even three more songs.

 

First on the menu for the hungry crowd was Creeping Death by Metallica. We went completely berserk and the band was amazed by our energy so the singer kept passing his mic to us and we had the chance to sing along (scream our asses off). Second on the menu was Heartwork by Carcass and last but not the least Ace Of Spades by Motörhead. We screamed, we shouted, we banged our heads strong. That was their last concert on the Torching Eastern Europe tour. So thank you guys for the incredible show and we hope we will see you again! And a loud shout out for the true metal crowd out there, keep up the good work! Skal!
