On February 13th, thanks to the Hammer and Tongs promotion, true metal lovers were about to witness a mighty metal show and enjoy that treat. The event called THRASH METAL TERROR, a real madness, was held in Club Exit in Osijek.
The sludge stoner band Tempest opened that night with some real sludgy riffs which brought a good amount of people down there. They transferred a really good vibe and have woken up our interest with their energy. The crowd enjoyed every minute of their performance, banging and supporting the hell out of them. All in all, they definetly prepared the crowd for some more headbanging and moshing.
Next on stage were Chains of Suffering, a thrash metal band who got the moshpits going and went berserk with all that brutal amount of powerful riffs and brutally good vocal. The crowd went crazy with all that intense headbanging and moshing while the band kept playing harder and harder, giving us a real metal therapy. Front row filled with beer, banging and horns in the air was a real indicator of a true metal brotherhood.
The last band who took the stage and made it their bitch was STIM. A heavy thrash metal band from Ludbreg. Their energetic performance focuses on tempo changes and their absolute heavy riffs amazed the crowd who kept banging and of course moshing even harder. Everybody enjoyed their complete and utter madness and I really don't know how someone could stand still surounded with all that mesmerizing energy the band was sending to us. And of course, there were encores so the band didn't leave us hungry closing that night with the song Creeping Death from Metallica. The singer went off stage into the crowd who sang with him while the front row kept banging the hell out of their heads.
That kind of energetic mad performance we haven't seen for a while. Guys from the band themselves were really satisfied with the show and couldn't believe what a crazy metal crowd we are, so we will probably see them putting on a show again here.
Respect and a big horns up for all the bands, Božo and the true metal crowd! Skål!
