Campground was as always well covered and had a lot of space. The limitation of 12 000 visitors was a great idea to stand by it, because most of festivals get overcrowded but this number that they remain as a limit is just the right balance. The new adds to the festival area were well organized Hell's kitchen canteens, which had a wide variety of food to offer. Among the food menu there where slovenian, mexican, asian, oriental kitchen and all new vegan stand. Brewary offerd 40 different varieties of beer or you could just go ahead with regular beer for 1 euro.

Metaldays 10th edition has confirmed the reputation of it former name Metalcamp. Although the most of the Metalcamp crew are also Metaldays organizers, some suspected on how will it all workout under the new name and on it's 10th anniversary. Well, they have outdone themselves and it was seen and recognized by those who already visited Metalcamp past years and by those whom was this first time experience. First of all, lineup of a 100 and plus bands over the 5 days was more then enough for all the metalheads and their metal taste. Bands time schedule was perfect and most of the fans where satisfied by the mobile app that came in handy for planning the next band to attend. Also the new card paying system was pure success, cause it was simple to hand with.

Fans, visitors, metalheads what ever you label them :) were from all around the globe. Plenty opportunities on how to have a unique experiance of Tolmin and its iconic Metalday festival gives visitor dream come true. Organization crew, volunteers and security were all well prepared and happy to help in any matter. The feeling of not being stranger is what you get by visiting this festival, cause here you really do take a holiday far far away from any worries and just relax by attending bands, meeting new people or taking a swim in beautiful crystal clear Soča river.
