On April the 14th Hammer and tongs - tour and promotions brought to us a metal evening which consisted of 2 bands : a local band Black Flame and Krepuskul - A Romanian experimentalmetal band. Unfortunetly due to sickness of the drummer, Crimena couldn't make it to the show so we salute you and hope we'll see you some other time.
First on stage were the locals - Black Flame. They formed the band in 2010 and had several changes of band members so now the band consists of: Dino Raičević (guitar, vocals), Kristijan Banović (bass guitar) and Kristian Perčinić (drums). They released 3 albums; the demo album "Aftermath" in 2012, "Break the circle" also a demo album in 2013 and "My own decay" in 2014.
The gig started around 10pm and as we already know there weren't many people on the show, maybe around 20 people. We can't actually describe them with a specific genre because they are a combination of heavy, death and progressive metal. In their performance they played for us some of their songs and some covers like: Slayer - Bloodline, SOAD - Aerials, Kreator - Phobia,
Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings and Drowning Pool - Let the bodies hit the floor. All in all it was a good gig filled with great riffs and some high quality drumming.
The band who closed that night was Krepuskul, an experimental metal band from Romania which was formed in 2005. The band members are: Andu Anches on bass and vocals, Alex Tarocco on drums, Marcel Rusu and Mario Ioanici on guitars. They played so many concerts and even festivals so of course they opened some for the greatest metal bands. These guys can put on a quite a show with the insane beats and awesome riffs. Each of their songs have some bizzare and trippy intros which perfectly fit for the rest of the songs. They are working with a combination of thrash and hardcore metal with a touch of doom metal so you can definetly say that they are indeed an experimental band full of surprises during their show. Their performance filled with insane and groovy energy will really make you move. From time to time we could clearlysee some amazing acrobatic drum skills from Alex so the drum solo on that kind of show was really expected. These charming guys amazed us with their entertaining presentations of their awesome skills. This was their first show in Croatia during the European tour "Dawn of violence" so we really hope to see you guys again, thank you for that awesome experience and just keep it up! Skal!
