Inferno Metal Festival 2023

The Aftermatch and words from the beyond
Looking back at the time, I was so lucky to have a friend, that also introduced me to cool people and meeting many. That is, again, one of the best things by traveling to festival in other countries and alone and here Inferno is really great, since the number of festivalgoers is low, you get to talk to a lot several times unlike larger festival. The party goes on at the Hub, where people are just themselves, whether audience, journalists, crew or band members, all are drunk and cheering with each other's.
On a fun note, I didn’t meet many Danish people on this trip and a lot of Colombians and I still don’t speak Spanish.
Oslo has a lot to offer during the festival period regarding metal history in Oslo and Norway in general, as for the festival also offers a black metal bus ride, but that was so quickly sold out, I never had a chance. But that is unquestionably something people should look into that decides to come in 2024.
Neseblod Records is a must go to place, with not only a lot of history surrounding it, but also an awesome store that has everything a metal heart could wish for. So, remember to bring a lot of money!
Most of the things, special events can be found on the webpage and on social medias, but be quick, it’s mostly for a very limited amount of people and they are quickly sold out and for a reason.
Thanks a lot for the opportunity to Inferno Festival, the great crew, the killer bands and the wonderful audience. This Festcamper left with a smile behind the heavy hangovers, dead eyes, blasted mind and wished I didn’t have to hurry home to work so I could have another day.
See you all in the pits! Until then, stay metal!
