The time has come for us metalheads to join a true Viking feast led by Grand Magus and the one and only Amon Amarth due to their Jomsviking tour. The concert was held on a very cold Tuesday night, November the 29th in Tvornica Kulture, Zagreb. Even though the door wasn't opened 'till 8pm, huge amount of fans were standing outside in the cold for three hours sipping their beers and highly anticipating the show we were about to see.

At 8pm sharp the door was opened and in a short period of time the venue was filled with crowd. Some of us grabed onto the front row as hard aswe could while others were raiding for beer or the bands merchandise. The opening band for the night was Grand Magus; a threepiece heavy metal band from Stockholm, Sweden who started at exactly 8:30pm with their song I, The Jury which hyped us up immediately and their strong riffs and deep vocals and beats kept us banging 'till the very end. We kept applauding and screaming "Magus!" overand over again so there was no doubt that the band fell in love with us as we alsosang their whole performance through. After an amazing drum solo the band ended their show with "Hammer of the North" on which we also banged our heads off and sang along.

After a short break, at 9:45pm the lights went off, the crowd went crazy, the well known huge Viking helmet was revealed and without further introduction; the greatest melodic death metal band alive, Amon fucking Amarth came out one by one throughout their mesmerizing Intro and the first blast was there! Pursuit of Vikings started, the pit was opened at the very second, we started jumping like crazy and cracked our heads while banging insanely. The almighty Johan then welcomed us to the Viking feast and asked if we're ready to go fucking crazy and our response was of course positive. Their performance is already known as an epic presentation of Norse Mythology and of the old Viking culture. Even on that little stage in Tvornica they did their best to keep their flawless performance going. The band achieved an awesome communication with the crowd letting us know that we are a crazy bunch of metalheads. Jocke as their new member did an amazing job drummin' the shit out right there on top of the already mentioned huge Viking helmet. Olavi, Ted and Johan did also an amazing job shreddin' their guitars whilst singing along with the crowd. And of course Johan Hegg with his almighty roar running around and greeting the first row and hyping us even more up.

The crowds response on their latest songs was amazing, singing along all the lyrics, so it seems like Amon Amarth didn't let anyone down; again. They prepared a pretty awesome setlist for us even thoughthey could squezze in a couple of songs from their first few albums despite that, since "As Loke Falls" all along through ''The Way of Vikings" and across the "Deciever" and "Father of the Wolf" 'till the "War of the Gods", crowd was jumping, screaming, crowdsurfing, even though it was "strickly" forbidden and having no mercy for their necks; beer was splashing, cups were flying, horns were up high and it was time for the Encore, the new anthem was upon us while the roadies passed the biggest horns ever to the band, filled up with booze of course. The band raised their horns and chugged that thing up quickly and it was time to raise our horned hands up to the sky once again. Their performance was soon to be over and they've done a great job closing that feast with the "Guardians of Asgaard" after which we could hear a distant rain and mighty thunders and see Johans powerful swing of his Mjölnir; so we all knew what's going to hit us next..."Twilight of the Thunder God". I didn't know it was possible for us to get even crazier and louder until the band started throwing their picks and drumsticks.

When I almost broke a tooth and got squished beside the front row to the point when I said a silent prayer to Odin to keep me safe
'cause I thought I'll break my fucking rib, then I knew that was some amazing crazyass night and something all of you metalheads
need to experience. All in all, Grand Magus did an amazing opening, Amon Amarth did an awesome job on their performance and the sound was crystal clear. A big shoutout goes to MH Concerts for their great organization and all the staff responsible for giving us a great time.
